Our Best Adventure...
In April we found out we were growing our family! It came as a little bit of a surprise but we couldn't be more excited! It was a surreal feeling as I've DREAMED about becoming a mommy my whole life and now it's really happening. I didn't know what to do when I found out. I was freaking out (in a good/nervous/excited way)
We always knew we wanted to be parents. We prayed for our future child and the timing. God had a plan and he answered. When I called the hospital we made the first appointment on our 3rd wedding anniversary. (Which is ironic because we always said we wanted to wait 3 years to have our first baby-God is so good!)
Needless to say we were so excited we could hardly contain ourselves. We decided on Mother's Day weekend 2015 to drive home to surprise our families. What a better way to spend mothers day than to find out your going to be grandparents! :)
Our parents were so excited! It was a beautiful surprise!
After our family knew, we got to share with some close friends. :)
I have been making posts every 2 weeks about all the changes and feelings that are going on with our little squirt! Enjoy! :)
Preparing for our future...
Since Palmer teaches you to be a doctor and doesn't focus on the
business side of running a successful business. Nate and I decided to
join the AMPED program. BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE! Not only
are we a part of the AMPED program but we are a part of the AMPED family! We
are on a mission to change the lives of people through chiropractic. When Nate
and I became a part of AMPED we dove in and decided we wanted to open our own
chiropractic office in Sioux Falls, South Dakota called Highest Health
Chiropractic. We decided this because we want to bring the hope of health
and healing to the tri-state and surrounding area. At Highest Health
Chiropractic we envision a world where people are living
happy, healthy, drug-free lives, free from the fear of sickness and
disease. Our vision is to free people from their health burdens, and
give them a vehicle to contribute to a cause greater than themselves.
Highest Health Chiropractic will use state of the art chiropractic neurological
assessment technology to effectively assess each patient. Nate is 1 of 100 Chiropractors in the United States who
are Certified, Advanced-Proficient in the Torque Release Technique. The
Torque Release Technique is the only chiropractic technique that utilizes a FDA
approved adjusting instrument for the correction of the vertebral subluxation
complex.
Highest Health Chiropractic applies the basic principles
of Chiropractic to provide people in Sioux Falls and the surrounding Tri-state
area with services to allow each member of the community to reach and maintain
a life of optimal health. Chiropractic health care focuses on the
function of the nervous system and its intimate relationship with the spinal
column. Through specific, scientific, chiropractic adjustments to a
misaligned segment (vertebral subluxation) of the spinal column, nerve impulses
being sent to and from the brain via the brain stem and spinal cord can flow
uninterrupted; thus allowing the human body to self-heal and self-regulate the
way God intended.
I
am excited to start this adventure with Nate by my side. He has worked SO hard
this far my excitement is
bursting looking ahead to graduation and starting together. I am so proud of
all the things Nate has done ahead of time to help make our path smooth after
graduation.

1st Grade...
I had a great year in 6th grade but let's be honest...I LOVE THE LITTLE KIDS! My principal approached me about moving to 1st grade and I was ecstatic! The only thing that made it a hard decision was that I wasn't sure what the next year would bring. Little did I know, God had that all in the plan. So I decided to make the move! And I am sure glad I did.
My first graders brought so much joy and happiness to me. They we a great class who loved to learn, smile, laugh, listen, and participate. I only had 14 students (which was awesome) and we were a family! We were friends!
